Life Writings

    Dear readers,

do you ever feel like the world is against you? I do sometimes. Maybe its bullies at your school, pressure from others that seep over you like rushing water, maybe it's your job, life at home, or maybe even you. Life can be hard. You will fall down many holes, you will get hurt, and you will feel like you can never make it. But you need to get back up, you need to stand up for yourself. You need to tell others-those bullies, those voices in your head-to stop. To stop hurting you, and hurting others including themselves.

This world is a scary place, it is full of hatred, but you need to stand up and ask, "why?". Why do we do the things we do? Why do we hurt others? Is it because we feel good after we break someone down? Is it because no matter what, we always make mistakes, so why even try? No, we can't keep doing this to others, to ourselves. We can't keep deceiving ourselves, saying that we are a good person, even when we tear down others, even when we fill our minds with hate. We are blinded by hatred. We like to only see the bad things in others, so we can feel better about ourselves, But today we need to make a difference in the world. We need to peace and love on this broken place we call our home. We need Jesus. He is our true home. He is the one who will forgive us over and over for the endless mistakes we make.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

            - Martin Luther King Jr.

"But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them."
